Das ehemahlige Bauernhaus (Bj 1850) ist ruhig gelegen auf einem ca. 2.500 m² großen Grundstück und befindet sich nahezu in Alleinlage. Seine zentrale Lage macht sie besonders ansprechend. Tagesausflüge zur Nord- und Ostsee sind von hier aus problemlos zu gestalten. Auch Städte mit diversen kulturellen Angeboten wie Husum, Flensburg oder Schleswig sind schnell erreicht. Selbst ein Abstecher zu unseren dänischen Nachbarn ist innerhalb von nur 30 Minuten möglich.

Wo früher gehobelt und gedrechselt wurde, wunderschöne Möbel und kunstfertige Wohnungseinbauten entstanden, können sich unsere Gäste nun auf 90m² entspannen. Ausgestattet mit einem Mix aus modernen Möbeln und Antiquitäten bietet sie bis zu 6 Personen bequem Platz. Sie verfügt über einen separaten Eingang, WLAN, Waschmaschine, Geschirrspüler, PKW-Stellplatz sowie einer eigenen Terasse (Sonne vom Mittag bis zum Abend).

Die Wohnung ist bedingt barrierefrei.

Woher kommt der Name Sophiental?

Der Name Sophiental leitet sich vom westlich liegenden Flurstück ab. In dieser so genannten Senke befand sich früher ein Priel, welcher als Zugang zur Nordsee diente. Nach Eindeichung im 16. Jahrhundert blieb ein kleiner Bachlauf übrig. In den 1960er Jahren wurde dieser Bach im Zuge der Flurbereinigung verrohrt. Woher genau die Bezeichnung Sophiental kommt, ist leider nirgends belegt oder aufgezeichnet.
