De ole Discherie – das Haus

Das ehemahlige Bauernhaus (Bj 1850) ist ruhig gelegen auf einem ca. 2.500 m² großen Grundstück und befindet sich nahezu in Alleinlage. Seine zentrale Lage macht sie besonders ansprechend. Tagesausflüge zur Nord- und Ostsee sind von hier aus problemlos zu gestalten. Auch Städte mit diversen kulturellen Angeboten wie Husum, Flensburg oder Schleswig sind schnell erreicht. Selbst ein Abstecher zu unseren dänischen Nachbarn ist innerhalb von nur 30 Minuten möglich.

Was bedeutet Langenhok eigentlich?

Der Name Langenhok bezeichnet das Landstück auf der Geest, auf welchem unser Haus einst errichtet wurde. Auf der höchsten Stelle der Gemarkung, direkt hinter unserem Haus, befindet sich ein Hünengrab (Langhokbarg) in dem ein alter König oder bedeutender Fürst seine letzte Ruhestätte gefunden haben soll. Es ist das größte Hünengrab in dieser Gegend und stammt aus der Zeit von etwa 3500 vor bis 1000 nach Chr.
